Rafael Uribe high school and elementary school from Pereira in Colombia is supporting Japan with a project that teaches the students to appreciate different cultures and learn more about social values.

In our school we have some special days when kids sing the national anthem, for this occasion the teachers made some posters with Japanese flag and Colombian flag for decoration.

This is the moment when the parents are lighting the candles to honor the victims of the tsunami and quake in Japan.

The parents of our kids in the school also worked hard in this project to support Japan. In a touching ceremony they light candles to show their respect for the victims in the Quake and tsunami.
